Harris is Vice Chairman of Global Wealth Management, Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Last year, she was named chair of the National Women’s Business Council by President Obama.

She is responsible for increasing client connectivity and penetration to enhance revenue generation across the firm. Harris has extensive industry experiences in the technology, media, retail, telecommunications, transportation, industrial, and health care sectors.

Harris has been selected by Fortune magazine as one of the “The 50 Most Powerful Black Executives in Corporate America” and by Essence Magazine as one of “The 50 Women Who are Shaping the World.”

She is the bestselling author of “Expect to Win: 10 Proven Strategies for Thriving in the Workplace,” and is also a singer, having recorded two albums, “Carla’s First Christmas” and a CD of gospel music titled “Joy is Waiting.”

Harris delivered the commencement address to The College of New Rochelle’s 2012 graduates, and has visited campus to share compelling and practical advice for career success.
